Our Taitu shirts are part of our Black History collection. It features an 1896 engraving of Etege Taitu Betul (c.1851–1918), Empress of the Ethiopian Empire. She founded Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital city. She was the Emperor Menilik II's confidante, a commander, and a brilliant military strategist.
